OMNIBUS ACCIDENT NEAR ONEHUNDA.
Ay accident occurred to Weston's omnibus, on the Onehunga-road, last night, by which several persons were injured. The omnibus left town at 5 o'clock, and at about 6 had reached a point between Gwynne's Hoteland the Royal Oak Hotel. Here the horses shied, and tho metalled portion of the road being narrow, the omnibus got off into the rut at the side, and eventually capsized. Several of the passengers were injured, but none dangerously. The most seriously hurt was Mrs. Lewis, who was somewhat severely cut about the face. She lives near, and was taken home and attended by Dr. Scott. _ Mr. Courteney (close to whose house the accident occurred) and others assisted, and in a short time the omnibus was got upright, and on the road again. We are informed that there are Many dangerous places on the Onehungaroad. where there is scarcely room for two vehicles to pass without one of them falling into the hollow at tha road-3ide.
