PURCHASES OF CLYDESDALES FOR THE STUD COMPANY.
The Stud Company have been exceedingly successful up to the present, and apparently they are determined to persevere until they can produce for the market the very best horse stock in the colony. Yesterday the ~~ directors received a telegram, informing them that three valuable Clydesdales had been put on board the steamer Afghan at London. The animals are a stallion and two mares. For the former was paid the large price of £1500, and for each of the mares £750 was paid. -
