Tiik Auckland City Schools Committee met last evening. Present: Mr. Gorrie {m the chair), Alessrs. McMaster, Schmidt, Thwaites, Wright, and Waymouth. Withdrawal of Resignations.—Misses Ballantine, JPetitt, and Bartleman, who had tendered their resignations in order to join the Training School, desired to withdraw tha same.—The request was granted. Application.—Miss Harkiss forwarded an application desiring them to recommend her to the Board for the vacancy in the Highstreet School, caused by the resignation of Miss Sinclair. _c ~ I .
