Gbahamstown, Thursday. _ At Parawai, fco-day, fat cattle were again plentifo.l, chiefly composed of a fine draft of prime oxen and heifers from Mr. Douglas, of Tauranga. The sale was well attended, and nice sized steers maintained late rates. Extra heavy weights declined slightly. Sheep were in full supply, and late rates were maintained. Mixed sexes brought from 14s to 15s 3d ; for draught colts £35 was offered, but being below the, reserve, were withdrawn. Several weedy hack* and unbroken ponies were sold at nominal rates, from 27s 6d to £3 2s 6d. Prices for best beef were 24s to 25s ; heavy weights, 22s Cd ; mutton, .2fa. : ' ..
