FATAL ACCIDENT.

[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Greymouth, Wednesday. A fatal accident occurred near the racecourse to-day. John Harris, carrier, from. Westport, was taking his waggon, full of men, women, and young children over an old culvcrt, when just as the horse got across, the culvert gave way, dragging the horse back and falling upon the driver, at the same time precipitating the waggon full of people into the creek. All the children and adults got out uninjured, and after some difficulty the driver was found under the cart. All efforts to restore animation failed..
