Mr. R. Arthur intimates that in consequence of Friday next being Good Friday, his weekly •sale of poultry and produce will be held on Thursday, at 11 o'clock. Messrs. Hunter and Nolan are to hold their weekly sale at the Durham Yards on Saturday, instead of Friday, beginning at 10 o'clock. AYe would recommend builders and others with unoccupied allotments in the city or suburbs to view the buildings in Albert Park reserve, for sale on the ground on Thursday next, at noon. They contain an immense amount of good building material, well seasoned timber and bricks and stone, suitable for foundations, walls, or ship's ballast, also grates, boilers, copper fittings, and a variety of material, all of a useful description. The adjourned meeting of the shareholders n the Kuranui Hill United Gold-mining Company takes place to-day at Mr. Stodart's office, at half-past 2 o'clock. The business is to consider Mr. Laishley's motion respecting the management of the property* The ladies of St. Matthew's parish are • invited to attend at the parsonage on the 14th instant, at 4 o'clock, to make arrangements about holding a bazaar to assist in raising foods lor the purpose of liquidating the parish debt.
