• ':■, .- . ■ ■--. * There -was a very fair house at the Theatre Royal on Saturday evening to witness the last performauce of the" Lydia Ho.warde Burlesque Company. The first part of the programme consisted of Dobdin's operetta, '' The Waterman," Miss Howard appeared as Tom" Tug. Mr. Leopold, as, Mrs. Bunder,- kept the .house in good humour through the whole piece. The performance concluded with the; pauto-mirne-burlescrue, "Tom, Tom, the Piper's Son." The several song 3' were given with good effect. Mr. and Miss Leopold treated the audience to some good dancing, which had the effect of bringing down the.house, and they had to comply with the demand for its repetition.
