Waitala arrived from Russell and AVbangarei yesterday morning, left again for the latter port at 8 p.m., and may b© expected back about the same hour to-night. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Rotomahana is expected to arrive from Melbourne and Southern ports on Monday forenoon. She leaves Again at 6 p.m. the same day for Kussell, returns thence on Wednesday evening at the close of the regatta, arriving here on Thursday morning, leaving for Southern ports and Melbourne the same day. . . _ . , , , w The brigantine Enterprise arrived in harbour late last night from Timaru, which port she loft on tho 27th January. Experienced light northcast and northerly winds moat ot the passage. She brings 1180 bags oats, and 50 bags flour, consigned to order. . . The schooner "Whanganui arrived from Lyttelton last night. The master reports Left Oamaru on February 1 with light easterly winds, which continued till the 4th; °n the otn. S E winds, which continued to Cape Palliser ; thence light N.E. winds to Gisborne, from which had winda from the westward, veering round from S.W., till off East Cape, when it hauled to S.E. till arrival. Cargo: 30 tons of oats, flour, and oatmeal. The balance of cargo ia for the Thames and Mercury Bay. The topsail schooner Mary King arrived from Lyttelton yesterday evening. She left that port on the 2nd instant with a light northerly breeze, which continued' till off Gisborne ; thence to port carried a fine S.E. wind. Th<? brig Thomas and Hemry amved in harbour .at an early hour this morning from Lyttelfion, with a cargo of produce, consigned to order. The vessel left Lyttelton on Ist February, with moderate N.W. wind, which lasted until the 4th; then strong variable winds, hauling from N.E, to N.*W., round by N., lasting until the oth, then got fresh easterly breeze, which lasted to arrival, on the 12th. Wallabi nrrived from Wanganui at 9.30 a.m. yesterday, with a cargo of stock. She returned thither at 4 p.m. v The s.s. Kowena arrived at 11 a.m. yesterday from - Waitara, with cattle, and left again for the same port at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The s.s. Rowena is announced to leave for Waitara at 3 p.m. on Monday.
