WAIUKU TRINITY CHURCH.— ANNUAL MEETING.
The .annual meeting took place in the church oil Saturday, the 29th January. Olll3' eleven persons were present. The antiual report, read by the Rev. W. Taylor, the minister of the district, showed an increase in the congregation, the average attendance being 72 against 62 of the previous year. The financial statement showed a balance in' hand of £0 Is 6d, with 110 deists whatever. , The Sunday-school, • under the Superintendence of Mr. C. H. Green, is flourishing. Mr. Watts was - re-appointed minister's warden, and Mr. TV. King was elected by the people, with the following gentlemen as .a vestry Messrs. Bent, Harris, Hamlin, Smith, and Chandler. During the year an excellent bell has been hung in a turret at the west end of the church. It was formerly at Kohunga, of the Church Mission. Its weight is about 4001 hs. The meeting expressed its thanks to the gentlemen who had been instrumental in its erection ; also to the outgoing officers, to the Superintendent and teachers of the Sunday-school, to Miss Flexman (the organist), and to the choir.—[A Correspondent.]
