The net land revenue for the quarter ending the 31st December last was £GG,039 9s Bd. uf this sum, £27,457 lis 3d wa3 the result o£ land Eales, £37,75S Is 8d obtained fof depasturing licenses, rents, &c., and xr miscellaneous receipts. Mr. R. J. Feltus, accompanied by the gallant seaman, Evan Owen, of b.s. Penguin, to whom he is indebted for his life, had an interview reemtly with His Worship tho Mayor for the purpose of procuring bis assistance to urge tho Humane Socioty to grant the medal to Evan Owen, he having already saved three lives before. His Wotsliip handsomely handed £1 Is to Mr. Owen, and promised to assist by every means in hiß power the object in view.
