Subjoined are the Registrar-General's returns of the vital statistics of the principal boroughs in the colony for the mouth of February last: — Pro'n. Total Total deaths Boroughs. Jiirthn. The deaths amounted to 217 in February, being an increase of 34 on the number in January. Of the above deaths, males contributed 128; females, 89. One hundred and thirteen of the deaths were children under live years, beiDg 52'07 per cent, of the whole number. Eighty-nino of these were of children under one year.
