OUR WHEAT HARVEST.

to ties editor.

Sir, —Tt ia very gratifying that the weather has taken up for the harvest, and I hope it will continue until all ia secured ; but I would re oini»eud our farmers to be very careful in the stacking of their grain, for there is more moisture this year both in °i,raw and grain than usual. It will be necessary to have their stacks properly ventilated so that it may keep. This is easily done as the stacks are being built. Farmers all report that the grain is good.—l am, &c., Johs Lamb. Waitemata Mills, January 3,' 18S0.
