The 4S hours from 9 a.m. on the 22ad to the eame hour of the 24th were remarkable for thtir damp and oppressive heat. Rainfall in quantity a little over an average; heavy on the 25th and 2G;h ; one very faint shower during the night of the !3rd, and showers between sunset and sunrise on three other days.
