REWI MANIOPOTO AND THE NATIVE MINISTER.

The Hon. Mr. Sheehan yesterday received three letters from the celebrated Waikatochief Rewi Maniopoto. They were all on business, and were written in the most friendly and confiding spirit. They related to questions of land beyond the confiscated boundaries, and were all in relation to matters discussed between Rev.i and the Native Minister at the late meeting in Waikato, to remind Mr. aheehan of promises he ha.il then made respecting them. The Hon. Mr. Shcehau was in the pleasant position of being able to inform Kewi that all tue matters referred to in his letters had been attended to and satisfactorily settled.
