MINE REPORTS.
The following reports and telegrams were received in town yesterday from the managers of the respective mines : — Kcjranui Hill. — The tributers' percentages amount to £220 8s 3d, of which Paterson'a tribute in the All .Nations section yielded £11S 8s 9d. With reference to this, the manager reports that Paterson will now drivo on the leader at the Boach level to connect A and B. His stope is only 24 feet (vertical) above tho floor of tho Beach drive, His ground ends there. If I find the shoot of gold continues downwards I will start working tho lower block on company's account as soon as repairs are completed in the All Nations shaft. You will observe that the teu fathom level drive has been carried clear through to the Inverness boundary. In doing so we found much mineral in the atone at that depth, and also broken ground very similar to both accompanying the quartz now being got in Patersoil's stope, and it is just possible a shot of gold may have been overlooked. Wo were then in difficulties with gas. The stone in Patterson's is anything but a promisinglooking sample {it yielded 12ozs. to the ton). I will do my best to set parties going on tho levels below the Moanatairi Creek and elsewhere.—J. W. Walker." Harbour View, Monday.—" Struck gold in the intermediate level to-day. Visit mine to-morrow (Tuesday.)—P. Tieknev, Legal Manager." Moanatairi, Tuesday morning.—" No reef broken down in the No. 1 winze, 150 feet level. The cross-cut south is now exactly under the 80 feet level on No. 9 reef, and the latter may be cut liouilw"
