New Zealakd Heraid Office, Friday evening. Mr. R. Arthur's sale to-day -was but thinly attended, and owing to the large quantity of frtut remaining oa hand from yesterday's sale, but little business "was done. Fowla sold at Is 6d to 2s 6d ; white dorkings, 2s lOd ; turkeys, 2s to 4a ; ducks, Is lOd : pigeons, 9d ; potatoes, '2s to 3s 6d ; Canterbury potatoes, 3s yd to 4s ; pumpkins, 2s 3d to 3s ; carrots, 2a 6d ; onions, 2£d to 2d ; butter, pata, to lOd; butter, casks, 4d to 9d ; bacon and hams, Canterbury, Sd to 9d ; Auckland - ditto, 6d to 7sd ; cheese, 6d to 6^d; biscuits, 6d ; flour, £10 to £14; pearl barley, 20s. The furniture department -was well attended, and second-hand sold well.
