THE NORTH SHORE FERRY BOATS.
To the Editor of the Herald. Sir, —May I suggest to the above useful company a new opening for trade anil dividends? It is complained, and very justly, too, by some of the boats' best customers in Parnell, that it is almost a day's journey for ladies to have to tramp to the wharf from their resiliences, and then back again til route home. If the company could manage to run a boat say, perhaps, twice each way daily afc tirst from theXorth Shore to the wharf alongside the Union Sash and Door Company's mill, Mechanics' Kay, many more would go over for a day's visit than at x>resent are able to venture. —lam, See., Traveller.
