SALE OF HARBOUR BOARD ENDOW MENTS.
Mr. W. Dowdes, under instructions from the Harbour Board, sold yesterday, the lease o£ 17 allotments having frontages to Fortstreet, Customhouse-street, and Commercestreet. The leases -were for 84 years from the Ist of February, 1575. The prices realised were the highest the Board has yet obtained for any of its properties, as the following list will shew: —Facing Fort-street • —Allotment No. 14, 30 feet by 99feet, Edward Isaacs, £34; allotment No. 15, 30 feet by 99 feet, H. S. Meyers, £34; allotment No. 16, 30 feet by 99 feet, H. S. Meyers £27 10s ; allotment No. 17, 30 feet by 99 feet, J. L. Campbell, £33 : allotment No. 50, 426 feet by SO feet, Joseph Craig-, £SS'• allotment No. 51, 426 feet by 80 feet, Morton •Jones, £91. Facing Commerce-street: Allotment No. 52, 25 feet frontage, Joseph Craig £55; allotment No. 53, 25 feet frontage Joseph Craig, £50; allotment No. 54, 05 feet frontage, H. F. Anderson, £72; allotment No. 55, 25 feet frontage, H. F. Anderson, £70 ; allotment No. 57, 25 feet by 101 feet, G. Holdship, £79; allotment No. 5S 25 feet by 101 feet, G. Holdship' £63. Facing Customhouse-street: Allotment No. 59, 36 feet by 80 feet, G. Holdship, £110; allotment No. 60,30 feet by SO feet, G. Holdship, £100; allotment No. 61 36 feet by SO feet, G.
