Malicious Ixjcht to Piiopektt.—Michael Bourse was charged with unlawfully dumaging u door nnd fence, the property of Francis Qeslgo, iu Cracroft-stroet, Paruell, value £1 ss, on the 11th inst. On the charge being proved, the prisoner wae ordered to pay the amount of damage claimed, and si fine of £5, or in default to be imprisoned for two months with hard labour.
AssATJLTiNa the Police.—Tho eame priBoner wus found guilty of a further chargo of having aesaulled Constable Jnckson, who was at tho time in tho execution of his duty. 'Iho Bench considered thai, the police should be as fully as possible protected, und sentenced tho prisoner to ono month's imprisonment with hard labour, without tho option of a fine.

Tho Bench issued a warrant to compel the attendance of the defendant. LauceNY. —Thomas Hurley, a boy eight years of age, was charged with feloniously stealing a gold chain and Chilian coin, value £G, the property of llenry Carroll, on the 10th instant. Mr. Joy appeared for the Aβ fendant. The prisoner was, upon the application of Inspector Broham, remanded until Friday rnoruiDpr.
