[PHOSt OtTE OWN COBBESPONDENT.] Geahambtown, Friday, 8 p.m. The Kuranui Company got out a nice little patch of specimens. Great improvement within the last few days. The yield for the fortnight will be brought up to nearly 250 ozs. of gold. The Hard Cash, Tapu, lodged 15 ozs. 8 dwts. melted gold, from 50 tons of stone. The Unicorn tributers crushed 18 tons, for 7 ozs. 1 dwt. of gold. The Golden Crown will have about 45 ozs. of gold for the fortnight. The crushing is very irregular. During the ensuing fortnight the battery will be more constantly employed. The Crown Prince are reported to hav6 got a little gold from the new leader cut to-day. The Luoknow crushing is not quite so rich now. Tookey (Wood's tribute) crußhod 50 tons for about 18 ozs. of gold. The share market is firmer. Sales: Caledonian, £14 to £13 12s 6d ; City of London, 27s 6d to 235; Lincoln, 17s 6d; Bird in Jiland, 7s 6d; Black Arigel, 21s; Golden Calf (2nd issue), 3s; Thames, 80s.
