Saturday, 4 p.m. Got.t>t:x Chows'.—During tins week tho manager has sent, into the mill about 120 tons, in equal proportions from (lie two reel's, and Umvm-»'»l to record that the yield therefrom is a magnificent one of 453 ozs. of retorted gold. Vale ok Avoca.—During the week several lots of stuff hare been sent down to Weston's machine, and the yields from tho two leaders are really pood. From the rich No. is reef about 7V tons have been crushed, which gave 28 ozs. IS dwts., while about 20 tons are now being treated from No. 3, and is showing weil for 2 ozs. The large reef, known as No. 4, of which there must be well on to 300 tons in paddock, is awaiting the completion of tho wire tramway, but iu tho meant into 40 have been sleighed to the mill, and is showing well the usual return of 12 dwts. to the ton. The Soctkkx Pacific will most probably brim: in the result of the trial crushing from the No. 2 reef, and it is fully expected to go 3J ozs. per ton. .Pkioe of Krix. —The shareholders of this claim have had trial crushing* from the two leaders in their ground, one of which has proved payable ; the other not so satisfactory. 4 tons from tho Blue reef yiel cd -J- ozs., while that from the Brown only gave 7 ozs. from 19 tons.
