[l-'IiOM OUIt OWN CORKESt'oNDKNT.J Tins usual quarterly tea-meeting in connection with the Alexandra Wesley*ll Sunday School was held at Te Uori. After the minutes bad been read by the Secretary, Mr. li. J. Millar, Mr. W. IT. James read an essay 011 " Sunday School Teachrrs, and their qualifications," .after which the members discussed various matters in connection with the school, and made arrangements for the anniversary tea meeting, to be held 011 Tuesday, the 31st inst. The meoting of the School Committee was held at Alexandra on Monday evening last. The number of children guaranteed payment for was thirty-six, the amount., £40. Mr. Shannghun, who "has opened school, has tlie signatures of all the parents whose children attended school, and who are anxious tha, Mr. Shanaghan should be continued as teacher, and I hare no doubt. Mr. O'Sullivan will see fit to confirm the appointment on behalf of the Board of Education.
