ON tho 27th June, 1866, Motebwallah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the L ABELS of Messrs. CROSSE and BLACKWJBLL, London, and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Phear to TWO YEARS' RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT; and on the 30th of the same month, for SELLING SPURIOUS ARTICLES, bearing Labels in imitation of Messrs. Crosse and Blaokwell's, Shaik Bacco was sentenced by the Suburban Magistrate, at Sealdah, to Two Years' Rigorous Imprisonment.
