OTAHUHU.
His Excellency Sir George Bowen arrived yesterday in the Bturt from his visit to Motutapu, and will proceed to-morrow to Otahuhu, in conipany with .Lady Bowen, to take part in the inauguration of the ixon Monument at that place. There will be a large gathering of the Masonic bodies (to which. Order the late Colonel £sfixon belonged), on this occasion, and should the weather to-day prove propitious, doubtless a large number of persons from both town and country will visit the settlement. The Masons will assemble in full Masonic costume in St. John's Lodge, and from thence the several Lodges will proceed in order to the monijment, the brethren there forming in open order to allow the senior Lodges and Provincial Grand Lodge to pass through them to the monument. Upon the arrival of the Provincial Grand Lodge at the monument, his Excellency the Governor and the Committee having previously taken up a position around it, a salute will be fired by the Volunteer Cavalry (the late Colonel Nixon's command), and the screen will be removed from the monument, which will be installed with the usual Masonic ceremonies.
