THE LATE MR. JOHN GRAHAM.

The body of this unfortunate gentleman had not been recovered up to a late hour last evening. The p.s. Siurt',was kindly placed at the disposal of Mr. Kobert Graham by his Excellency the Governor, on Monday, and, after searching ail the islands, the Sturt returned, to Auckland at noon yesterday, bringing up Mrs. Graham and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarke, Mrs. Kirkwood, the Eev. D. Bruce, and others. The fact of Mr. Graham's waistcoat having been found shows that he must have struggled hard to gain the shore. The Water-police boat will leave here again on Friday, in order to drag for th;: body, and if not successful, will remain till tlic following day.
