NEW SOUTH WALES.
Thanks to the courtcsy of tlie officers of H.M.S.S. Charybdis, we have been placed in possession of Sydney papers to the 24th of June. Wo regret to say that they contain in* telligenee of painful interest. The country districts watered by tlie Hunter, the Nepean, and other rivers, have been literally swept by the floods ; very many lives have been lost, and an immense amount of property has been destroyed. We are, of course, unable to give the full particulars—which indeed occupy many columns of the Sydney journals but extracts referring to the principal incidents, wliicli occurred in these unhappy devastations will bo found elsewhere. The market reports, telegrams, &c., will bo found in another place.
