ARRIVAL OF THE AIREDALE,
Tho s.s. Airedale, Captain A. Kennedy, arrived in the Manukau oarly yesterday morning. Sho loft Wellington at G. 30 p.m. on Sunday last, aDd after calling at Picton, where sho remained four hours, arrived at Nelson at 1 am. on Monday; left on Tuesday at 4 p.m., and arrived at Taranaki at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday ; owing to the heavy surf on the beach was only able to land a portion of her cargo for that port. Sailed for Onehunga, and arrived at 10.30 a.m. yestorday, having experienced a strong northerly galo, with tremendous sea, on tho Manukau bar. Sho brings tho following passengers and cargo : Passengers : —Saloon—Mrs. Rich and family (2), Mrs. Abell, Miss Andrew, Rev. Mr. Gordon, r. Knight, Messrs. Gardner, Oooke, Ross, Carlo, Abell, IJird, Wallaco, Holcombo, Coney, Pollock, Porter, Goldstono, Adamß, Cooper, Bayley, Selojman, O'Farrell, Murray, Marshall, Buddie, Albion, f-nd 11 in the steerage. Cargo : —From Wellington, 15 boxes tobacco, Berwin and Mendellson; 1 parcel, Lovott; 1 parcel, U. B. A. From Otago, 13 hams. From Nelson, 2 crates, Wron. From New Plymouth, sundry packages stores, her Majesty's Commissariat.
