ODD FELLOWS' HALL.
The amateurs of lier Majesty's 12tli Kegiment made their second bow to an Auckland public last night, in the Odd Fellows' Hall. The house was literally crammed throughout, and the applause was frequent and hearty. Of the performance itself it is sufficient for us to saythat the whole affair in every detail was in the highest degree creditable to these excellent amateurs, whose get up and style of acting would be a credit to almost any stage in the colonies. The piece de resistance of the programme '*' The War iu Auckland," has alreacty been fully noticcd in our columns, and it only remains for us to add that this amusing farce, which really does credit to the originality of its versatile author, Mr. J. Hynes, was written in a small tent at Tauranga, the top of a calabash serving as a table. The Waipa Minstrels came in for repeated rounds of applause, and we can only say of the whole performance that those who have missed the opportunity of witnessing it have missed a genuine treat.
