FLYING CLOUD.
To the Editor of the New Zealand Heiuld. Siii, Tn answer to a letter in your paper of today, signed by Llr. Clark and three others, permit me to say that, as Sequestrator of the estate of Mr. Aurele Quartier (and not, as thev assert, as Sheriff's Officer), I did request Captain Seon not to allow the boat to come ashore more than three times a-day, morning, noon and night, for the following reasons, namely : firtt, that it had come to my knowledge that th r - boat was kept constantly going to and from the vessel, thus keeping the men from attending other duties; secofcd, that I have found out that several unprincipled persons have, on speculation, purchased for £5, a number of the unfortunate passengers tickets, for which £12 have been paid, and Snln U are now trying to assort tbo „ A B ° M emal passengers. Further, I ™-° passengers called upon me yesterday upon th's matter, and expressed themselves perfectly satisfied with my arrangement.—l am, &c., Hen it y Veenon.
