At the Haymarket, on Saturday last, hay was I scarcoly so saleable as on previous week, but the creator part offered was of inferior quality. No maizo was offered at the auction ; all at hand—about 800 sacks—was ssold privately. Now Zealand maizo, at 5s ; Sydnoy maize, at 5s G.I the bushel. Tho lease of Mr. Walter Runei.ian s farm brought £185 ; tho balance of book debt 3, £38 ; and tho allotments at Drury 2s 6d tho foot. Horse stock were dull of sale, but at low rates ; a considerable number changed owners. No firet-olaes draught wejo offered. At Otahuhu, on Tuesday, very few cattle were penned, and thojo were dairy cows, and sold at full rates. Tho sheep were freely competed for—3oo Napier wothors in thoir wool brought 25a each ; tho Australian shorn wethers, ex Hydra, 18s each. At Newmarket, on Thursday, tho yards were bare of etoro cattlo. A fair mustor of dairy cows sold freely, and tho lost week's edvanco was maintained. Fat cnttlo were offered in excess of requirements, and 21 head woro tvithirawn, AucUland-fatted cattle maintained thoir lust week's prico—about 4'Js tho 1001b ; but importol cattlo were lower in prico—3os per head. Fat calves woro plentiful, and brought from 25a to 60s each. A full supply of fat lambs sold freely, bringingfrom 17s to 25s each, oao pen only being sold at a less price; Wo wcro sold. Fat sheep of good quality wore plentiful, and brought last wook's rates ; 250 were sold. Store pige were in good request, and thoso offered sold at high rates ; fat pigs sold, relativo to othor stock, at high figures. MESSIIS. HUNTER AND CO.'S WEEKLY KEPORT. We have to roport that fat cattlo have not advanced in prico sinco our last week's quotations, wo consider them a shade lower this week, but tho qualities offered were not first class. Store stock were in fair supply, and prices considerably better, than for tho Inst few weeks, thoso on Monday were of good description. Dairy Cows were in good supply, mid of a good description, this class of stock is considerably advanced iu price, wo sold some as high as £15 10s each. Veal calves, there woro a fair number in the market, they brought from 20s to 00s each. SrtEEi- Markft.—We had a full market of store and fit sheep and lnmbs. htore sheep with tho wool, from 21s each. Fat sheep, fhorn, from 21s to 27s eaoh. Lambs from lGn to ISs each.

Otaiiuiitj Sale.—Wβ hnd a largo market of a superior description of young stock, principally yearlings, they brought about £3 15s each, all to hand wcro sold.

House Market.—Wo have to report that the horso niarVct is considerably improved as rogards price, wo had ono of tho best markets on Saturday last that we have hnd for somo time, prices aro considerably highor, and Bale more easily effected. Draught horses were bringing from £40 to £50 ench. Good hacks from £12 to £25 each. Medium draught are worth from £20 to £35 each. From GO to 70 head changed hands. Waiukit Sale.—Wo hod an opening sale of store cattle, dairy cows, horses, &c, at Wniuku, on Thursday last, tho first sale that ever has been held in tho district, and it may bo considered a success. We anticipate that this will bo an important market in future, as it is a district that is largely sotllod, and onn of the moat flourishing around Aucklaud. There were eighty head penned, of which soventyfivo bond we're sold at a rate fully 203 to 30s a head above Newmarket prices of tin same wo'-k. Tho salo wns held at yards erected by Mr. Campbell, near his hotel. Thoro is accommodation both for selling and grazing stock.
