AKKTA'ATj OF THE WELLINGTON. The Is.Z.S.N. Co.'s s.s. "Wellington, Capt. Francis, arrived in Onchunga harbour yesterday at noon. She l.dt the iiluir on the 2nd instant at o'oO p.m., and arrived off Otago He.uls at 3 a.m. the next morning ; hovc-to till daylight, and anchored in. Port Chalmers at 7'30 am. Left Otago on the sth at 5 p.m., and arrived in Lyhclton at 9'20 a.m. oil tho Oth, after a rapid pas-age of 1G hours 20 minutes. Left Lyltelton on the 7th at -JO minutes past. noon, and arrived in W ellingtou Jit 5 :i. ni. on the Ktli. Left Wellington on the Dlh at 9'15 a.m., arriving the same afternoon in I'iclon at 2 .'!0 p.m. Left same night at 12, and arrived in Nelson next morning at 830 a.m. Left Nelson on the 12th at 1 p.m., and arrived in Taranaki at 7 a.m. Left fame evening, after discharging about SO tons of eargo, and arrived in the Manukau as above. Tho Wellington brings tho following passengers :— Cabin : Lieutenant Collins (70th Regiment), Captain Creagh (50th Kegimeut), iUessrs. William Mills, Harkman, John Marshall, Heid, Smith. 2nd cabin: Messrs. Mekinness, Kepson, Morton, and 1 rank and file. The p.s. New Zealand has been totally lost at Ilokitika—all broken up. Tho Wellington, Captain Francis, from the Southern ports, arrived yesterday about noon, bringing intelligence of the total wreck of the s.s. Alexandra at the White Clids hist week ; and tho wrcck of tho New Zealand at Hokitalca. The schooner Excelsior may shortly be expected from Taranaki.
The cutler Dart is also hourly expected from Waikato-
