CITY BOARD ELECTIONS.
To-mop.how is the day appointed for the election of four members to the City Board, one for each of the several wards, No. 1, City East, and Nos. 1, 2, and 3, City West. The nomination will take place at the City Board offices, Canada Buildings. We hare alluded on a former occasion to the duty incumbent on ihc ratepayers to seize the opportunity which this occasion gives of looking themselves after their own interests. At former elections some dozen persons have been present, and, if any of the members then returned have not been "all that their constituents could have wished, the latter have nonebut their own supine indifference and inattention to their duty to thank for the same. who will not take the trouble to exercise, their civic rights have no just reason to complain when, they find their civic interests neglected. It serves them right.
