CRICKET.

The Beturn Hatch bet-ween 11 Officers. Ken-Com-missioned Officers and Privates of the Royal Artillery v. the Garrison, was played on Friday afternoon, at the Albert sarracks, and terminated in favour of the former by 5 wickets. The wickets were pitched about noon, and the .Artillery sent Lieut. Campbell first to the batting. The batting of Captain Rooke, Xieut. Campbell, ond Sergeant Sandovcr, was particularly worthy of praise, having conjointly added 40 Tuns to the score in the first innings. The bowling •of the Garrison at the start was excellent. The Garrison, in their first innings, scored only 20, which may be attributed to the able bowling of Lieut. Robson and Campbell. Perhaps the best science was distinguishable in this innings, and drew down the hearty applause of the bystanders, a considerable number being present. Th« Artillerj-, in their second innings, scored 40, of which number Lieut. Campbell made 13; and the score of the Garrison showed 73 runs, the Rev. Mr. Baillig himself scored 22. The match was well contested throughout, hence the apparent lowness of the scores. The following is the score:— KOYAI, ARTILLERY. IST 2ND INNINGS. INNINGS. Lieut. Campbell b.SutclilTe b. Clements, c.
