In accordance with previous advoitisement, the first halt-yearly meeting of the Shareholders of the above Association, was held at the oilico of the Secretary, Quqen-street, last ni^lit. Business—To receive the half-yearly .statement of accounts, ard to transact general business. Itwas proposed bv Sir. Lkahey, and seconded by Mr. X'lto.Mi'so.v, that- Mr. Barnes do take the chair. Chair taken accordingly. The minutes of the hist meeting; were read and continued. The statement of accounts for the past half-year, were then laid before the meeting.
