IS I—General1—General Cameron, schooner, for tho South Sea •Islands. The Missionary sf liooner Southem'Cross, Captein Tilly; arrived from the South Sea Islands yesterday morning. Her full report will be found in .our other columns. ■The'gunboat Sandfly, Capt. H. Markß, arrived from Taiiranga yesterday morning. She was detained at Tauranga by. strong N.N.E. gales, but eventually started at L.p.m. on the loth (Thursday), and arrived here at. 8.30 a.m. yesterday morning. She brings the following passengers—Surgeon Major Best, Major Sbuttleworth, Captains Clements and Light, Messrs. Woodward, Turner, Howard, Palmer, Stuart, Marshall, and Clayton. 68th Regt.; Capt. Dunne ; Ensign Hopcroft, Ist Waiknto Regt.; Messrs. Craig and Beale. Mr. Buckland, Mr. Travers and family, Mrs. St. John, Mrs. Frazer, Mrs. Rice, 10 soldiers, 68t1i., 5 men, Ist Waikato Regt., and 1 maori. .The schooner Albatross, Capt. Brauud, was to sail from Tauranga for Mercury Bay as the weather moderated. . The schooner General Cameron sails for the South Sea Islands this day, and the schooner St. Kilda on Wednesday next. •The ship Ironsides lias all but completed her discharging, and will sail shortly for Guam. She entered: outwards at the Customs yesterday. The schooners Tauranga and Fortune both cleared atithe Customs • yesterday for Tauranga, with full cargoes. They sail this morning. The ship Day."Dawn, and barque Novelty, wil| both sail for Sydney this morning, weather permitting. Tho schooner Kauri sails this morning for Napier. She wil! call at Wangapoa, and ship a full cargo of timber there.' The s.s. Wellington, Capt. Francis, sails from the Manukau for the South to-morrow morning. The s.ss Lady Bird, Capt. Renner, is due in this port from Napier and the South on Monday next,
