A steamer leaving Otngo on tho first Monday in J! ay, and proceeding theiieo to Mamikau via Lyttclton, "Wellington, Picton, Nelson, and Tamnaki; leaving Mamikau on tho third Monday iu May, back to Otago by the .tame, route, and so on, making the voyage every four weeks. 2. A steamer leaving the Bluff on the first Tuesday iu May, nnd proceeding llieuce to Auckland via Otago, Lyttclton, Wellington, and Napier, leaving Auckland on tho third Thursday of May, back to the Bluff by the same route, and so on, making the voyage every four weeks. 0. A steamer leaving the Bluff on the second Tuesday in May, nnd proceeding as above. 7 Do. do. leaving on the third Tuesday in May. S' Do. do. leaving on the fourth Tuesday in May. Tenders will be received for the above services separately, or for two or more, or the whole, but tenderers must specify the bont to bo employed on each service. The precise date of commencing the respective services may he a matter of arrangement, provided it harmonises with the above system. Sufficient mail accomodation to be provided to the satUfaction of the Postmaster-General, and a free passage for a post-oHice clerk in charge of the English mail, if required. The Postmaster-General to fix the dates of arrival and departure at each port, and to have the power of detaining any vessel for 2 L hours without charge ; the rate of charge for further detention to be stated iu the tenders.
