DRURY.
[ntOJI OCli. OffX COHKESTOKDEKT.] February 18. The convoy to the front numbered 72 carts. The ' Wuiroa' and ' Harry Bluff arrived early this morning at the wharf, and were immediately diu-ch.-u ged. Tlie ' Favoiito' and ' Trial' are now alongside. The bridge on the government road from Drury to the settlement of finniaivimu, which -was built at tho joint expense of the inhabitants of this neighbourhood and the Provincial Government, was broken down by one of the loaded commissariat waggons during lust winter, and repeated applications have been mado to the authorities to have it repaired, but 'without avail; and now the men working ibr Government havtj ordcra to take away the planks from tho bridge to repair other bridges, as they may be required. Already four planks have been taken, and now it in not only impassable for carts, but also dangerous for foot passengers to the Ramarania, who have no other government road. Now, is not this an illegal act of the Provincial Government destroying a public bridge erected by public money ?
