RUNAWAYS.
We learn by atf Hobart To^n "paper, that out of the nine men who were sentenced at the sittings of the Supreme Court in April last to transportation, two were runaway convicts from Van Diemen's Land, and four from Sydney. This is satisfactory, and bears out the opinion expressed by the Judge of the County Court that most of the vagabonds who have committed excesses in this place, do not belong to the emigrants sent out by the Company, but are the refuse of the neighbouring colonies,
