THE THEATRE.

This place of amusement is greatly improving, both as regards the acting and pieces produced. On Tuesday night last, the performances consisted of a melo-draraa called the " Innkeeper of Abbeville, or the Ostler and the Robber," and the laughable farce of " Cherry Bounce," with three or four songs. The pieces were received with applause, and will be produced again this evening. We must not omit mentioning the ladies, who deserve every credit for the raannei in which they accomplish their parts, with increased confidence upon the production of every new piece.
