Maritime Record.

The clipper schooner Wild Wave, Captain Martin, arrived at daylight yesterday morning, thirteen days from Kaiapoi. Experienced light and variable winds until arriving at the East Cape, from whence she had to beat under close reefed sails against strong Westerly winds, up to the time of arriving in harbour. Sighted a large ship on Thursday off the Little Barrier, supposed to be the whaler Sea Gull, bound home. A schooner was signalled outside Tiri Tiri yesterday evening at sunset. She will, in all probability, prove to be the Sea Gull, which sailed from Wellington, for this port with cattle, on the 27th ultimo.
