AUCKLAND DISTRICT, 1.0.0. F., M.U. npHE THIRD ANNUAL FESTIVAL of the 4 Auckland District Widow and Orphans’ Fund will be celebrated on FRIDAY NEXT, February 14, by a Procession of the Members of the Lodges in and near Auckland, by Field Sports and other rural amusements, and by a Ball in the evening. The procession will be formed as usual, at the Hall at 9 o’clock a.m. and return about 5 p.m. By the kind permission of Col. Balncavis, the Volunteer Band will attend. Dancing will commence at 9 o’clock p.m. Tickets 15s. each (including all refreshments,) may be obtained from the stewards only, and will not be transferable. No tickets will be sold after Friday morning at 12 o’clock, nor will any money be taken at the door. The refreshments will be supplied by and under the superintendence of Mr. Canning. STEWARDS. Prov. The schooner “ Emma Eliza” will (weather permitting) leave the Queen-street Wharf at 8 o’clock on Monday morning and return the same evening. Tickets to the Chapel and back, including the tea, ss. 6d. Regatta, 1863. THE Building of Racing Boats not being a profitable occupation to winners or loosers, J. W. CARR will not accept the challenge given, nor allow the “ Tairo,” “ Harriet,” or any other boat he has control over, to ran in any match until January 29th, 1863; but will meet any boat upon equal terms on that day.
