The past has been a perfect hurricane week of wind, rain, hail, thunder and lightning and all the accompan iinents of a perinature and severe winter. This detention of our coasting craft is occasioning some inconvienence in the supply of shingles of which the market, for the moment, is bare, and at a time when the commodity is inactive demand. Now, however, that the weather appears to hare returned to set fair, we shall no doubt have the wind bound tumbling in m masse. The foreign arrivals have been the schooner Tawera with a '«'ge general cargo from Sydney; James Booth, ship, with •undry merchandise from Liverpool via Melbourne ; and Sarah, brig, from Adelaide, with flour. The Customs Revenue received during the week ended the *<h instant amounted to £ijßß 19s 3. Hunter, Cochrane and Co., report, at their Sale of horse •lock held in the Greyhound Vards, last Saturday, but few hones were brought forward for sale. Mfred liuckland's sale at the lltyinarket, on Saturday last, was fully attended, and the improved prices for draught horses of ihe previous week fully maintained. Mr. Alfred Buckland'l yards at Newmarket, on Thursday wit. were well supplied with dairy cows. The prices obtained •or them varied from £l2 los to £|s 13s. Store cattle were jnll of tale.
