[from the " Daily News," October 21st.J Scarcely anything has been doing in the grain market today. Wheat is scarce, and remains at Us to lis 3d per bushel. English barley was made at 7s lid. Hay is much the same as previously; loose hay, £6 10s. to £8 per ton according to quality, and country-pressed £C, 10s. to ,t'7 10s. Potatoes are quoted at £6 10s. lo £7 10s., with very little demand. A good business is doing in the Hour market, and prices continue linn. Flour from the best colonial wh at sells at £IU to £2O per ton according to quality. Bran fetches Is 9d to 2s. per bushel, and sharps jt'lo to £l2 per ton.
