Nine-miners recently sentenced lo seven and nine months' imprisonment for the part played in connection 'with the "go-slow" policy, in various mines in the Dominion Were to-day released from Mt. Eden Gaol. signed a personal bond of £SO, not to take partin any strike or to encourage or procure a strike' for twelve months. HUNTLY MEN BEFORE THE COURT. PROSECUTION OBTAINS ADJOURNMENT. MINERS KEEPING THEffi PROMISE STATEMENT BY MINISTER OP DEFENCE. Per Press Association, WELLINGTON, May 7. " Reports from coal mines are to the effect- that the miners are keeping their promise not to restrict the output, About the normal quantity of coal is now being won, Asked if Webb, 0 'Rourke anil 0 'Brien came within the scope of the pact with the miners' unions, Sir James Allen replied that the pact did not warrant the release of the "go-slow" strikers'sent to gaol at Auckland. No notification had reached the Government yet that the men had been given their liberty.
