CHRISTCIIURCII, October 6.

During the last few day? there has been a good enquiry for wheat, and, with the exception' of some in store, which lias now to be got fid of to make room for wool, very little is offering. Tuscan is firmer, ami for prime milling 'ls 8d to'4s Oil is now being offered. Other varieties, which are .scarce, remain without change, but are very firm. . There are a few oats to be obtained, but oatsheaf chaff is very dull.of sale, and, owing to holders getting rid'of their stocks, the price is easier, and supplies are being offered at £3 5s to £3 10s.,

The potato market is unchanged, £6 10S to £6'lss being the ruling price, with a shortage' of offerings. ■ -'
