Deceased walked away, 'but later sat down Tjy the road and went to sleep. He was found by thelicensee of the Kaihw Hotel on Sunday morning, and attended to till Monday morning, when he'was taken to the hotpital, death ensuing soon after admission;., Dr Young deposed that his life' might have been saved if be had been brought- in' sooner. The Coroner returned a verdict feha : tj death was due to injuries as the Result of being knocked down by a horse ridden by Hockley. It is understood the police will take further proceedings.
