NORTH OTAGO PIGEON FLYING CLUB.

The above club held thoir third race for the season on Thursday last from Chrlstchurch, the day being fine with mist overhanging. The winner Te Apiti (Marshall's bird) doing the distance at a Telocity of 1435 yards per minute, which must be considered good time. The club wishes to thank Mr Harding for acting an judge, and also Mr A. Smith, of Ohriitchurch, for liberating the bin's. The following is the ro^ult of the race : Mr Marshall's Te Apiti, 1435 yds per minute. Mr Walker's Tho Tailor, 1368 yds per minute. Mr Richmond's Roll Call, 1269 yds per minute. Mr Calder's Bkirmiahcr,' 1150 yds per minute. Mr Fobs' Try Me, 1150 yds per minute.
