The Premier arrived in town this after* noon. A deputation of the Uniforsity Council waited on him to urge tho claims of. the School of Minos to the L500 hitherto voted. A deputation from the Protection League also waited on the Premier to ascertain his views with reference to legia* ! lation on tho tnrift next session.
