AUCKLAND. October 14.
Afc the annual meeting of tho South British Insurance Comptny to-day the report previously telegraphed was road, and a 10 per cent dividend declared. The Chairmnn of Directors congratulated tha shareholders on tho success that had attended tho operations of tho Company under tho now policy, and expressed great confidence in its futuio. Messrs Wilson and It. A. Oarr were elected Directors in the plaeo of Messrs Wilson and Daldy, retiring, and Messrs Waymouth ind Clarke were re-olocted auditors. The proposal to reduce the number of directors from seven to six was negatived. Tho mooting concluded with a vote of thanks to tho chairman, directors, manager, mid oflicors.
