The Hon. W. P. KoevoB has proceeded north from here. His business is a general inspection of the district on behalf of the Cabinet. The native schools and land will bo inspected, and he will visit tho Maoris of tho "Waipu district, who are stricken with tho typhoid fever epidemic. Ho is, at tho same time, endeavoring to make himself acquainted with tho grievous native land difficulties which now prevail along tho coast.
